TRAUMA/Domestic Violence/PTSD/Mental Health

Trauma can manifest in individuals who experienced physical and mental abuse from their parents during childhood, leading to profound effects later in life. Such experiences often result in long-term anxiety and feelings of helplessness, alongside physical symptoms like illusions and various emotional challenges. This demonstrates how childhood trauma can significantly disrupt an individual's foundational development, potentially affecting them for life. However, it's important to note that not all children who face traumatic events will develop traumatic stress. Those affected can, with adequate support, adapt to and overcome these adverse experiences.
